Most school AI plans stop at a policy. The work happens in between.

Why it matters

A policy answers what's allowed. Training shows people what's useful.

Most schools now have a view on AI. Fewer have staff who can use it confidently on the work that fills their week: trip paperwork, letters home, rotas, data returns and the same parent questions every term.

We start with those tasks. Senior leaders, teachers and support staff each bring something they want to improve, and work on it with Andrew inside the tools and rules your school already has.

Starting points

Where people start.

  • Starting point

    Running transport checks

“Drivers' checks are on paper and hard to audit.”

Built on a courseAn app for recording the checks drivers make before school bus journeys

  • Starting point

    Organising a sports fixture

“Teams, fixtures and results live in five places.”

Built on a courseAn app for organising a school football tournament

  • Starting point

    Planning a school trip

“Risk assessments and letters home take hours every time.”

Could becomeA trip pack that drafts the paperwork from one set of details

  • Starting point

    Answering parent questions

“The office answers the same questions every week.”

Could becomeA searchable guide for the office, drawn from your own policies

Before the session, Andrew asks each person what would make the biggest difference to their week. These are indicative examples.

The Blue Coat School, Birmingham

“Andrew's training was engaging, expertly paced and consistently professional. He worked with a team at Blue Coat whose understanding of AI ranged from complete beginners to seasoned IT enthusiasts, and he met every one of them where they were.”

Common questions

Before you book.

Can senior leaders, teachers and support staff train together?

Yes, and mixed groups often work well. Where needs differ a lot, we split people into separate sessions so everyone gets useful attention.

Will this fit an INSET day?

A half-day build session fits a morning or afternoon of an INSET day. A full day gives people time to build and test properly. See the formats.

Do you teach pupils?

No. Sessions are for staff, so they can use AI well in their own work and make informed decisions about it.

Plan an INSET session or a programme for your staff.

Tell Andrew who you'd like to involve and the work that takes up their week. We'll suggest a format and how to prepare.
