Team training · Microsoft Copilot

Microsoft Copilot training for your team.

Your organisation may already pay for Copilot. Most people still use it like a search box. Andrew teaches your team to use it on real tasks in Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams, inside the setup your IT team controls.

What it does well

Where Copilot earns its place.

Copilot works inside the Microsoft 365 apps and can draw on the documents, emails and meetings each person can already open. That makes it strongest on everyday office work.

  • Outlook

Summarise long threads, draft replies and catch up after time away.

  • Teams

Recap meetings, pull out actions and ask what was decided.

  • Word and PowerPoint

Turn notes or an existing document into a first draft or a deck.

  • Excel

Explain a sheet, suggest formulas and spot patterns in data.

Where teams start with Copilot.

    Writing the monthly report

“I rebuild the same report from scratch every month.”

Could becomeA reusable prompt that drafts it from last month's figures and notes

  • Starting point

    Keeping up with email

“I come back from leave to four hundred messages.”

Could becomeA catch-up routine that summarises threads and drafts replies

  • Starting point

    Running project meetings

“Nobody remembers who agreed to do what.”

Could becomeMeeting recaps with owners and dates, posted to the team

  • Starting point

    Answering policy questions

“The same questions arrive every week.”

Could becomeAnswers drawn from your own policy documents, with links

Indicative examples. Before the session, Andrew asks each person what would make the biggest difference to their week.

Setup and data

Copilot questions we sort out before the session.

Which licence does each person have?

Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat and the full Microsoft 365 Copilot licence do different things. We plan exercises around what people can actually use.

What can Copilot see?

It follows your existing SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams permissions. Untidy permissions show up quickly, so we check them with your IT team first.

Which features are switched on?

Your administrators control which Copilot features and apps are available. We work within that.

What data can be used in exercises?

We agree this with you and use non-confidential examples where needed.

Common questions

Before you book.

Do people need the full Copilot licence?

No. We can train on Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat, the full licence, or a mix. We plan the exercises around what each person has.

Is this run by Microsoft?

No. Two Cores is independent. Andrew teaches the practical use of Copilot alongside other tools where that helps.

Can you train our IT team too?

The sessions are for the people doing the work. We involve IT in the planning so the setup questions are answered before the day.
