Codex training for your team.

Codex is OpenAI's coding agent, and it comes with most ChatGPT business plans. Andrew teaches teams, including people who don't code, to use it to build and test small tools that make their work easier.

With changes you review before anything is used.

What it does well

What Codex is for.

Codex works in ChatGPT, as a command-line tool and in code editors. It can work on a task on your computer or in a cloud environment and propose changes for you to review.

  • Internal tools

Small apps that replace a spreadsheet or a manual routine.

  • Automations

Scripts that move data between the systems you already use.

  • Fixes and changes

Updates to an existing tool, proposed as changes you can check.

  • Prototypes

A working version of an idea to test before anyone commissions it.

Setup and data

Codex questions we sort out before the session.

Which accounts include Codex?

Codex is included with several ChatGPT plans, including the business plans. We check what your people have before the day.

Local or cloud?

Codex can work on a computer or in a cloud environment connected to a code repository. We choose the simplest setup for the group.

Can people install software?

The command-line and editor versions run on each person's computer. We check with your IT team first.

Where will finished tools live?

Something built in a session needs a home and an owner. We discuss hosting and review before anything is used at work.

Common questions

Before you book.

Do people need to know how to code?

No. People learn to describe what they want, review what Codex proposes and test the result.

Should we use Codex or Claude Code?

If your organisation is on ChatGPT, Codex is often the easiest start. We'll advise on the call. See Claude Code training.

Is this run by OpenAI?

No. Two Cores is independent, and we cover Codex alongside other tools where that helps.

Build the tool your team keeps asking for.

Tell Andrew what your team wants to build and which ChatGPT plan you're on. We'll suggest a format and how to prepare.
